Browser and connection
Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with JavaScript, secure HTTPS and necessary first-party browser storage enabled. A stable internet connection is required for authentication, saving, collaboration, private media and payment management.
Screen, input and complex maps
GeneaProof adapts to phones and tablets, while large family maps, document review and dense professional workflows are most comfortable on a laptop or desktop. Keyboard, mouse, trackpad, touch and browser zoom can be combined according to the task and the user's needs.
Backups and local capacity
Keep an independent, current export of irreplaceable research and original files. Large imports, high-resolution media and report generation also need enough local browser memory and disk space for temporary processing and downloads.
Readable and adaptable by design
Light, dark and system themes, scalable layouts, keyboard navigation, visible focus, semantic labels, LTR and RTL support are maintained as product requirements. If a workflow remains difficult to use, report the exact page and task through customer service so it can be reproduced and improved.
